Jacqueline Gordon

Jacqueline Gordon is a visual and sound artist who currently resides between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Her work integrates audio technologies into sculptural forms to question relationships of affect to an environment. She received her BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004 and an MFA from Stanford University in 2011. Jacqueline has had solo shows at Queens Nails Projects and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery.  She received the 2011 Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant, a Center for Cultural Innovation Investing in Artists Grant (2011) and a San Francisco Arts Commission Cultural Equity Grant (2009). Jacqueline has also received a Phelan, Murphy, and Cadogan Fellowship (2010), The Outstanding Student Achievement In Contemporary Sculpture Award from the International Sculpture Center (2010) and a fellowship to attend The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture this past summer.
